Research and Publications
Dr. Quesnele has worked extensively designing and conducting original research projects in the field of basic sciences. His primary interests are understanding the physiological effects of manipulation and manual therapies on blood flow. He also conducts systematic reviews in sports medicine and performance and musculoskeletal medicine. He is currently a co-investigator on a novel and important research trial which will investigate the effects of cervical spine manipulation on cerebral blood flow and perfusion.
He has had the privilege to represent his research teams at several international conferences including, Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC) in Las Vegas in 2012, World Federation of Chiropractic Biennial Conference in Durban South Africa in 2013, and most recently at the World Congress of Biomechanics Conference in Boston in 2014.
Dr. Quesnele has published research in many scientific journals including, The Spine Journal, Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, The International Journal of Sports Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism. A list of his recent publications is below.
